Please see our shipping policy to estimate shipping time.  IF YOU NEED FASTER DELIVERY, PLEASE CONTACT US!  WE WILL FIND A WAY TO ACCELERATE YOUR DELIVERY AND GET YOU THE BEST POSSIBLE RATE.  For international customers, this policy also includes information on customs duties and charges.

Thor is fully universal.  Will precisely convert worldwide mains voltage or frequency to what you need, with great accuracy, assuring rock-solid timekeeping and speed control.  The output receptacle is universal.

Thor will power devices up to 100 watts, surge to 160 watts.  Voltage AND frequency can be selected as needed, either 115V or 230V AC, at 50Hz or 60Hz, from anywhere in the world, regardless of frequency or voltage available locally.  You can select the desired plug style to match your local outlet at checkout.   Output receptacle style accommodates most worldwide standards.

Why do you need Thor? Devices with motors that turn or vibrate are very dependent on power line (mains) frequency to do their job properly and at the right speed.  Thor is a favorite with vintage tube-based record players and tape player systems such as Braun SK55 and Wega 3300.  Others have used Thor to power ceiling fans designed for other regions of the world.

The Legacy of Thor.  Thor replaces our original Model 1935-60W which had been available since 2013.  As such, Thor has already experienced a long history of success.  We have customers in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Beirut, Saudi Arabia, Norway, several proudly traveling with folks in the US Armed Forces, and even one in the Turks & Caicos Islands used to power hospital equipment in a home.  The legacy of Thor has proven to be a very reliable and rugged one.

Thor also includes a remote control port, in case you need it.

If your application requires more power than Thor, please consider Hercules, with its 200 Watt capability.

1 review for 100 Watt Thor Voltage and Frequency Converter

  1. Warren Turner (store manager)

Today I was dusting off my entertainment center (which I should have done like 2 years ago) and in the process I cleaned off my Thor 100 watt converter. While doing so I thought to myself “Man this thing is great. I’m so happy I bought this.”

I bought it 4 years ago when moving to Vietnam and it has held strong through all the crazy power fluctuations, me accidentally putting too much load on it more than once, and the constant 90% humidity. I think it is the only thing I own that hasn’t grown mold.

In general sometimes it is hard to buy things that last a long time like in the past and I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate this little box. It has kept all my old American video game systems and turntable and TV and everything else I dragged across the planet running great.

Let your engineers and marketing people know that your hardware can survive South East Asia, which I’m telling you is no easy task.

Hope you have a good week and keep up the great work!
